The international publication remarked upon both the rich collection of the contemporary art and original museum projects
The prestigious National Geographic magazine has named five museums in Saint Petersburg any tourist should not miss. Erarta Museum of Contemporary Art holds the third position, after the Hermitage Museum and the Russian Museum, on the list of places worth visiting.
The publication praised the permanent collection, comprising 2800 works by contemporary Russian artists, as well as Erarta’s original creative projects such as U-Space and Theater With No Actors.
In addition, the magazine rated highly the Erarta Home Stores, where one can buy everything, ranging from a gift to an original piece of art.
It was also noted that the museum hosts concerts, film screenings, live theatre performances and lectures.
