Special Opening Hours of Exhibitions, Permanent Collection Display and the Café on 30 and 31 May

27 May 2024
Temporary shows in the Exhibitions Wing (with the exception of the 2024 Erarta Prize), floor 5 of the Museum Wing, and the café will not be accessible to visitors

Dear Friends,

If you are planning to visit Erarta Museum this week, please note the special opening hours of temporary exhibitions on Thursday and Friday, 30 and 31 May, due to a private event. The shows on floors 2–5 of the Exhibitions Wing, the rooms on floor 5 of the Museum Wing, and the café on floor 3 will not be accessible throughout the day.

The permanent collection display on floors 1–4 of the Museum Wing and the 2024 Erarta Prize exhibition on floor 1 of the Exhibitions Wing will operate for you as usual: this is a great opportunity to explore Erarta’s expansive and steadily growing collection as well as the museum’s signature projects and to see the creations of 40 artists nominated for the Erarta Prize – paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures, installations, and photographs – in the large-scale show at Erarta’s Grand Hall. Don’t forget to vote for the artwork of your choice: with the final voting date, 5 June, just around the corner, the ultimate prize money distribution fully depends on the viewers.

A little reminder in case you wish to see other temporary shows: García de Marina’s artworks will be on display through 30 June, photographs by Gérard Uféras will be on view through 25 August, paintings by Nikita Kulnev and collages by Tamara Stoffers can be seen through 2 June, Sergey Sekirin’s and Nina Slipchenko’s creations can be enjoyed through 14 July, the exhibitions by The CUBE Collective and Ivan Tarasyuk will run through 28 July, while Rinat Akhmetov’s and Elizaveta Rukavishnikova’s art will be displayed at Erarta through 18 August. With a valid Ticket or Membership, you can come back any time to see them for free.

Enhance your experience by visiting an unusual museum space: Erarta RestoBar on floor 4 of the Museum Wing welcomes visitors from 12:00 to 23:00.
