Paintings and drawings of Evgeniy Zaremba should not be regarded as a simple combination of strictly rhythmical, decorative compositions and delicate fusion of colours. The artist possesses a high level of symbolic and abstract perception, and achieves harmony through the combination of visual poetry of symbols with logic of purely pictorial devices. In his compositions Zaremba draws the viewer's attention to changeability, movement and conversion of the world around him. The artist gathers impressions from the rich diversity of nature and then processes them into highly-individualised visual sensations representing his own perception of nature, time and substance.

Themes of self-knowledge, of Life and Universe continually run through Zaremba's works. His "dialogs" with Eternity and Universe are based on ethereal visual associations and parallels of consciousness. Each of his compositions is an artful attempt to reflect on and comprehend his idiosyncratic impressions of the outer and inner world.

Zaremba's distinctive visual consciousness is very expressive due to the artist's deep understanding of the rules of nature. He does not compete with it but carefully listens to and observes the innate powers and energy of natural elements such as wood, water and stone.

Evgeniy Zaremba was born in 1968 in Omsk. He graduated from the State Pedagogical University of Omsk (faculty of graphic design) in 1992. Zaremba is a member of Artists Union of Russia. He presently lives and works in Omsk. The artist participated in regional, national and international exhibitions.
