On September 16 Erarta Stage will host a concert by “My Rockets Up”. The band will present their first post-reunion album 'Littoral'.
In January 2016 “My Rockets Up” officially announced their reunion. The fans were promised not only long-awaited concerts, but a new album!
According to the vocalist Konstantin Chalyh the new album is not a simple one: “We wanted to work on the record outside the city. So after a few months in the woods, we have accumulated enough material for a complete longplay”.
While working on the album, musicians were inspired by the beauty of nature: sounds of morning forest, rain, thunder, etc. “We’ve tried to avoid superfluous perfectionism: we wanted the songs to be just songs - music for soul and positive emotions. We grew up and we are no longer confused about our own ideas”.
This year the band will celebrate their 15th birthday. They’ve worked Tequilajazz, SunSa, Dolphin, Zemfira, Sonic Youth and Archive. And now they’ve got enough experience to come up with something personal and new.
Participants: Konstantin Chalyh (vocals, guitar), Sergei Sukhov (bass), Sergei Govorun (drums), Stanislav Kononov (guitar), Evgeni Sukhotin (guitar).
